Our pricing varies upon many factors from the size of project, the prep work that is needed, the condition that the substrate is in, the type of product that is used, the risks that our team will endure, and the type of substrate that we are working on.
For example, a home built in 2012 with James Hardie Board siding exterior would be cheaper than a 1972 built home that has not been painted in 25 years.
Interior, we typically charge per square footage for walls and ceilings depending on the condition of the walls.

The day of our scheduled estimate, our team will text you to confirm that estimate time. Another text or call to confirm our ETA. Please set aside 30-45minutes to discuss your project with us. This is very important to ensure we can get you the most accurate proposal possible. We will spend 15-45 minutes discussing the scope of work. After that, our estimator will collect measurements, photos and notes to get an accurate price. Within 48 hours of the estimate, you will receive a detailed proposal.

Contact your estimator to go through the next steps to get your project on our schedule. Review your proposal to ensure all details are accurate. Next, E-sign the contract and pay a down payment to lock your spot in our schedule. Lastly, figure out the final color choices and communicate those to your estimator.

After we confirm our starting date with you and our team, we will arrive in the morning. Our production team will do a initial walk through to confirm details will all painters. If you’re available to join us, we welcome all parties to ensure everyone is on the same page. Our team can answer any last minute questions as well.

Yes! Horizon Painting offers a 3 year limited warranty. Mistakes happen, we cover the first 3 years of our craftsmanship for your peace of mind. The details of the warranty are in the contract. Most paint brands offer a warranty on there products as well.

We cover majority of the twin cities area but focus on the surrounding suburbs of Saint Paul. If you are unsure if we cover your area, call us! If the project is right for us, we are willing to travel.

We accept checks, ACH payments, debit cards, Venmo transactions, and credit cards. There is additional service fees with credit cards and ACH payments. Credit cards fees are up to 3% and ACH payments are 1-2%.

Our painters have been in the industry for years and have experience working on all types of projects.

Horizon Painting will do our best to help you find the best colors for your home. We have connections with color consultants if you are in need of design help. There may be an additional cost for the consultants work. The consultant cost is cheaper than having to repaint areas because of a misguided color choice.
