My career in the painting industry began in 2016 with a small commercial painting company based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Early on, I learned that exceptional results start long before the first coat of paint is applied. Proper preparation—careful taping, masking, surface repairs, sanding, and priming when needed—is what separates an average paint job from a truly high-quality finish.

While continuing to build hands-on experience in the field, I pursued my business degree in La Crosse, Wisconsin, graduating with high honors in 2020. During that time, I worked with College Pro Painters, first as a painter and then as a franchise owner for two seasons. Leading my own operation gave me invaluable experience in sales, production management, team leadership, and delivering an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

After graduation, I relocated to the Twin Cities to be closer to family in Stillwater. Since the fall of 2020, I have lived in the St. Paul area with my girlfriend and our dog. For five years, I served as a business manager for a respected local painting company, further refining my expertise in operations, customer service, and project management.

In January 2026, I founded Horizon Painting LLC with a clear vision: to provide high-quality, professional residential interior and exterior painting services to homeowners on the east side of the Twin Cities. With experience in every role within the industry—from painter to franchise owner to business manager—I understand what it takes to deliver exceptional results.
